Will Kaizer Chiefs bring healing to South Africa?
The past few days have been difficult for South Africa. There have been violent protests in KZN and Gauteng.
These protests lead to deaths, damage of property, stress, and frustrations to many. We’ve seen people burning malls (people working place), looting shops, burning people's cars, and more.
In Short, a lot has happened in this country. Now the country deserves some healing, people deserve something worth celebrating.
The biggest question is: will Kaizer chiefs give the
country the healing that it needs?. The team is currently in Morocco where it
will play Al Ahly in the champion’s league on Saturday night.
Kaizer Chiefs had a Tough Season
Kaizer Chiefs had a difficult season in South Africa, they really struggled to win games as they were banned from signing players. However, they were able to achieve something no one expected them to achieve.
Kaizer Chiefs were able to eliminate great teams. Honestly, many people didn’t see this coming as the team was really struggling in the premier league. Now they are in the finals with the greatest team in Africa.
Two products from Jomo Cosmos will face each other in the finals
Pitso Mosimane and Arthur Zwane will face each other in the finals. The two coaches are the products of Jomo Cosmos and they’ve both played overseas.
Pitso played in Brazil whilst Arthur Zwane played in Greece. Both two coaches are highly experienced and had been in the sports industry for a very long time. They’ve both made South Africa proud.
South Africa loves both coaches
It is obvious that South Africa is behind both coaches. The country loves both of them. However, some are hoping Pitso wins whereas others are rallying for chiefs.
Most fans from sundown’s and Orlando Pirates are supporting Pitso Mosimane but the likes of Jomo Sono and Muhsin Ertugral are backing Kaizer Chiefs.
Kaizer Chiefs players are hungry for the trophy
Kaizer Chiefs has signed quality players, although some of their senior player’s future hasn’t been decided yet. All these players have the same spirit and are hungry for the trophy.
We all wish Chiefs will do it for South Africa.
Everyone deserves to celebrate after all the troubles that have transpired in
the past few days.
